Dong Tu

Today is officially the first day of renovation. I only got back to Singapore from Malaysia at about 7pm. I called the ID and he said he went to do the "dong tu" ceremony and burned some joss paper. He told me that the placement for the L-box will have to be changed due to the placing of some beams which he did not take into consideration earlier.

We agreed to meet at 11am tomorrow morning and he will give me a ride to my flat.

Meanwhile, I bought 9 bath towels, 5 hand towels and 3 floor mats for $131 at Takashimaya on Friday evening. They were on sale and the quality of the towels is quite good. 

Courts also called me regarding the delivery of my washer and fridge. I had called them on Friday and asked for a change in the delivery date from 28 Feb to 27 Feb as I have a class that day and my gf has a flight to do. The customer service agreed to change the date. But today, I got a few missed calls when I am back in Singapore and I called the number back. The salesman who sold me the washer and the fridge asked me whether my delivery date is confirmed on 28 Feb. I wondered what has happened to Courts's computer system when one end says that the change is ok and the other said that they are not even aware that I had changed the model of my fridge.
